Gurudwara Lohgarh Sahib is located at a distance of 15 kilometers
south of Nihal Singh Wala in the Moga District of Punjab in
the village Dina. It is located at a distance of 6 km from
Salatwatpura, 12 kilometers from Nihal Singh Wala and 13 kilometers
from Bhadaur.
In December 1705 A.D Guru Gobind Singh Ji came for a short
stay at Gurudwara Lohgarh in Amritsar. Chaudhari Shamir and
Lakhmir, grandsons of the local chief Rai Jodh, served him
with devotion. In the battle of Mehraj they fought on the
side of Guru Hargobind Ji in December 1634 A.D. At Lohgarh,
Guru Gobind Singh Ji wrote Zafarnama to Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb.
Gurudwara Lohgarh was built in commemoration of Guru Ji.
